Blog Land BOMs and Mysteries

Standard

Does anyone out there have the pattern collector’s bug?  Well, the first of the month (and sometimes more often) is the time to check all the blogs I follow for their monthly free BOM / Mystery installment to download “just in case” I ever get the urge to make the pattern.

I have not progressed to appliqué, and I admit, the one appliqué Sunbonnet Sue block I made “way back when” was quite an effort, but just love how appliqué looks, so I follow Erin Russek’s blog for Mimi’s Bloomers. I like her bright color palate.

I also am capturing the “Just Takes 2” blocks twice per month on . Sentimental Stitches.  I have kept up with all units, except Unit 7.  They are up to Unit 13 as of today.

I keep waiting for Bonnie Hunter’s next Mystery on Quiltville Blogspot Blogspot.  Meanwhile, she has tons of free patterns for scrappy quilts on her Quiltville website.

Sindy Rodenmayer puts out several patterns, some are monthly freebies on Fatcat.  Love those Funky Chickens she’s doing!   And my daughter is in love with Fiesta.

And the latest BOM, starting 7 July, is a Christmas Town Sampler (CTS) Blog Hop (three-some) Mystery from these ladies:

Judy Laquidara’s Patchwork Times

Sheryl Till’s Quilting Tizzy

Susan Neves’  Life On The Bayou

What are your favorite Free BOM/Mystery Blogs?

Best!
