At long last, the design wall is finished. I decided to go with a tip from fellow quilt designers Gloria Lewis and Jere’ Funk to use car headliner fabric to cover it. Hancock Fabrics had plenty.
Although I didn’t use these instructions to build the wall, since I had already put up the insulation foam boarding, I did consult the following website for what type glue to use to attach the headliner to it.
Alex at Lowes in Pascagoula, MS made a specific recommendation on which brand of spray contact cement to purchase–one that is compatible with foam and fabric.
